Strasbourg, 17/02/2000 (Agence Europe) - With its adoption -in a vote of 344 to 113, with 49 abstentions- of a resolution tabled by the EPP/ED, Socialist and Liberal groups on the Commission's Five-year Strategic Programme, the European Parliament expressed an overall positive view on the objectives President Prodi presented to the plenary on Tuesday morning (see EUROPE of 16 February, pp. 11-13).
