Soederman states that right to good administration should be enshrined in Charter of Fundamental Rights

Helsinki, 11/01/2000 (Agence Europe) - At a seminar in Helsinki on Monday, the European Ombudsman stated that citizens' right to good administration should be enshrined in the European Union's future Charter of Fundamental Rights. Jacob Soederman said that the Treaty had to recognise that citizens had the right of an open, accountable and service-minded European administration.
