11/01/2000 (Agence Europe) - As a result of the blocking of roads at the French border by French truckers, the International Road Transport Union (IRU) has asked the European Commission and the French Government to step in to restore free movement swiftly by means of a Community solution that is "realistic and socially appropriate".
