Monti says the Commission's doubts about the establishment of concerted agreements by banks are being confirmed for certain countries

Brussels, 11/01/2000 (Agence Europe) - In a discussion on Tuesday morning with the European Parliament Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs, Commissioner Mario Monti stated that the investigation into the establishment of concerted agreements by banks on exchange fees in the euro area and on the cost of cross-border payments was still in progress.
