Brussels, 11/01/2000 (Agence Europe) - The first plenary session of the European Parliament of the new year will be marked, on Wednesday, by the European Commission presenting its "strategic goals" for the coming years, and, on Tuesday, by the debate on the reform of competition policy being envisaged by the Commission. Wednesday, Parliament will, moreover, hear the Portuguese Presidency set out its programme for the first half of the year, as well as statements by the Council and Commission...
