European Parliament’s Conference of Presidents approves creation of working group to investigate NGO funding

The committee of inquiry into NGO funding requested by the European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR) group (see EUROPE B13613A20) in the European Parliament will not see the light of day, but a specific working group will be set up within the Committee on Budgetary Control, following an agreement in a meeting of the European Parliament’s Conference of Presidents, on Thursday 19 June.
