Publication of implementing regulation on rules governing non-tariff criteria for renewable energy auctions

19/06/2025 (Agence Europe) – The implementing regulation on the rules for non-tariff criteria for renewable energy auctions by Member States was published in the Official Journal of the EU on Wednesday 18 June. It follows from the obligation set out in the Net-Zero Industry Act (see EUROPE B13344A4) to apply certain non-price criteria as pre-qualification criteria in the design of auctions by Member States.
