EU Council adopts programme of European Atomic Energy Community and political agenda of European Research Area

On Wednesday 18 June, the representatives of the Member States to the EU (Coreper) adopted the Regulation establishing the research and training programme of the European Atomic Energy Community for the period 2026-2027, and the recommendation on the European Research Area (ERA) policy agenda for 2025-2027.

The Regulation completes the Horizon Europe programme and will repeal Regulation (Euratom) 2021/765 from 1 January 2026 (see EUROPE B13626A8). It provides funding for research and...
