Brussels, 09/11/2004 (Agence Europe) - In a telephone conversation with Jan Peter Balkenende last Friday, President Bush welcomed the financial, technical and personnel assistance the EU has pledged to make available for the process of elections and reform of the administrative, police and legal systems in Iraq (for the package of aid measures offered by the European Council, see EUROPE of 6 October, p.3).
