The IMERYS group (2003 turnover of EUR 2.729 bn) will be buying up the "rejects" section of MATERIS (ex-LAFARGE MATERIAUX DE SPECIALITES) for a bit less than EUR 150 million. this section has an annual turnover of EUR 190 million.
