ITER still held up over choice of site

Brussels, 09/11/2004 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday in Vienna European Union negotiators again attempted to convince the Japanese to accept compensation for building an experimental thermo-nuclear fusion reactor (ITER) in Cadarache in France. The meeting had still not finished as we went to press. Accomplishing this international priority project for energy supply, which brings together six partners (EU, USA, Japan, Russia, China, south Korea), has been meeting problems for a number of months...
