Brussels, 09/11/2004 (Agence Europe) - Political leaders from the European Union and the United States met last Friday in the White House to look at the possibility of relaunching the Middle East peace process and of modifying the "realities of the region" in the post-Arafat era, according to Reuters. A high-ranking official from the Bush administration did not state that the meeting had taken place until Monday, but American sources played down its scope, said Reuters.
