Brussels, 09/11/2004 (Agence Europe) - In a contribution with a view to a European Parliament hearing this Thursday on the "Bolkestein Directive" on services in the internal market (see yesterday's EUROPE, p.13), the European Liaison Committee on Services of General Interest (CELSIG) states that the proposal for a directive on services is a "framework-directive that concerns all services" and which will therefore "apply to services of general interest, save for some specific exceptions".
