Political agreements expected Tuesday on European Refugee Fund and recognition of confiscation orders - Other subjects

Brussels, 07/06/2004 (Agence Europe) - Meeting in Luxembourg on 8 June, the Justice and Home Affairs Ministers of the Twenty-Five are expected to reach political agreement on extending the European Refugee Fund from 2005 to 2010. The Council will also adopt guidelines for the European Commission to prepare a European financial instrument to manage the return of immigrants, residing legally or illegally, to their country of origin, former country of residence or of transit.
