07/06/2004 (Agence Europe) - Speaking about information regarding Gerhard Schröder and Jacques Chirac's proposals of Edmund Stoiber, the minister-president of Bavaria (CSU) as a candidate for president of the European Commission, Daniel Cohn-Bendit explained in a communiqué that this was an "absurdity" and that Stoiber would never get a majority at the European Parliament.
