1582 candidates fighting for 78 Italian EP seats

Brussels, 07/06/2004 (Agence Europe) -1046 men and 536 women have put their hats into the electoral ring where preferential voting will be important for the 78 Italian seats at the European Parliament (87 in the current parliament). The following provides a non-exhaustive list of the main candidates running in the 5 main regional constituencies in the peninsula:
