07/06/2004 (Agence Europe) - In a report published on Monday, the WWF (World Wide fund for Nature) calls for the abolition of Community structural aid for the development of EU aquaculture enterprises that catch blue-fin tuna in the Mediterranean. WWF considers that stocks of this species are in danger. The companies targeted are from Spain, Italy, Malta and Cyprus. The report may be consulted on the WWF Internet site (www.panda.org).
