Takeover of Polish steel company PHS by LNM is cleared

Brussels, 06/02/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has authorised the international steel group LNM to acquire the public Polish company, Polskie Huty Staly (PHS). The company, hitherto state-owned, is formed by the grouping of four separate companies within the privatisation process of Poland's steel sector.
