06/02/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission is said to have serious doubts about the merger between Sony Music and BMG (German group Bertelsmann) and may decide to open a detailed investigation next week. The spokesperson for Commission Monti has not commented on this eventuality but has confirmed that the decision would be taken on 12 February.
