GUS - GREAT UNIVERSAL STORES PLC, largest British mail order chain, took control of the on-line store JUNGLE.COM for GBP 37 million. In February, the analysts had valued this company at GBP 700 million. JUNGLE.COM, which in 2000 had a quarterly turnover of GBP 75 million, sell computer products as well as CD, games and videos on the internet.
