ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) chemicals

German BAYER intends to acquire part of the chemical products production activities intended for the paper manufacturer American CYTEC INDUSTRIES for the sum of around $90 million. The Swiss group CIBA SPECIALITES CHIMIQUES also plans to buy activities from CYTEC INDUSTRIES for $23 million.
