ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) electrical appliances

Luigi Nocivelli, President of the Italian Group EL.FI, has announced the merger of its subsidiary BRANDT with French group MOULINEX, of which it also holds 26%, on 15 October. MOULINEX will acquire all of BRANDT and of its subsidiaries abroad. The project, which has been under study for several months (see EI of 11 April), had undergone a large number of setbacks.
