Bilateral agreement initialled in nuclear fusion - EU support to democratic and economic transformation of the country

Brussels, 28/06/2000 (Agence Europe) - European Commission President Romano Prodi and the President of the Kazakhstan Republic, Nursultan Nazarbaev, initialled on Tuesday in Brussels a bilateral agreement for scientific cooperation in th field of nuclear fusion. They decided by common accord to extend until end 2002 the bilateral EU/Kazakhstan agreement on the trade in textile products.
