MAGNETI MARELLI (Italian group FIAT) is to become a majority shareholder in AUTOMOTIVE LIGHTING (turnover EUR 740 million in 1999 with 6,140 employed), the joint venture created with German BOSCH in the automobile lighting sector and hitherto held equally by the two partners.
