Mr Tizzano candidate for Advocate-General

Brussels, 28/06/2000 (Agence Europe) - The Italian government has put forward Mr Antonio Tizzano for the post of the Italian Advocate-General at the European Court of Justice for the period up to the end of 2006. The decision will be jointly taken in the near future by Member States' governments. Mr Tizzano was Legal Advisor from 1984-1992 to the Permanent Representation of Italy to the EU.
