ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) research

The research analysis company MEDIA METRIX (turnover $20.5 million in 1999), specialised in web topics, has announced the acquisition of the research firm JUPITER COMMUNICATIONS (turnover $38 million in 1999) in a share swap transaction amounting to $414 million. Called JUPITER MEDIA METRIX, the new group will emplly 730 and have 1,700 clients.
