ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) airlines

The British company BA - BRITISH AIRWAYS and Dutch KLM have confirmed that they were in talks in view of a rapprochement. Should talks lead to a merger, the capitalisation of the new group would represent some £5 bn, making it the world's number three airline, behind UNITED AIRLINES and AMERICAN AIRLINES.
