European operators call on Commission to accelerate regulation of costs for fixed to mobile telephone calls

Brussels, 08/06/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Competitive Telecommunications association (ECTA) called on the European Commission to adopt a recommendation as soon as possible on mobile termination rates. According to an independent study commissioned by ECTA, mobile operators are charging fixed line operators from 40% to 70% over fair economic levels.
