Commission announces, two days before opening of European Football Championships, that it approves ticketing arrangements for Euro 2000

Brussels, 08/06/2000 (Agence Europe) - Two days before the launching of the European Football Championships, Euro 2000, the European Commission announced that it approves the ticket sales arrangement for the matches taking place in the Netherlands and Belgium as of 10 June. The system of ticket sales was notified last march 1999 by the UEFA, so as to verify its conformity with the European competition rules.
