08/06/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has adopted a proposal aimed at gathering under the same regulation all the technical measures intended to protect highly migratory species. It is both a question of measures applicable in Community waters and those stemming from recommendations adopted in the framework of regional organisations for the conservation of tuna and for the respect of other EU undertakings regarding the protection of dolphins.
