The French company FAYAT (turnover of FRF 4.750 billion for fiscal 1998-99 with 5,400 employees) has sold its subsidiary SAMBRON (sales of more than FRF 200 million in 1999 with 130 employees), specialised in the construction of telescoping scoop handling trolleys, to the American conglomerate INGERSOLL-RAND. The amount of the sale was not disclosed.
