09/02/2000 (Agence Europe) - The French Foreign Minister has informed Jean-Marie Le Pen (National Front, France) of the opening of proceedings for withdrawal of his mandate as Member of the European Parliament further to his sentencing to one year of ineligibility for verbal violence. Mr Le Pen has two weeks to submit his comments.
