On 14 November, Council to try to reach compromise on jurisdictional aspects of future Community patent

Brussels, 07/11/2002 (Agence Europe) - At its meeting in Brussels on 14 November, the Internal Market Council will once more deal with the Community patent the Commission proposed in July 2000. Leaving aside the most disputed issue, that of languages to be used to register patents, the Council will attempt to reach compromises on the jurisdictional structure responsible for dispute management linked to the patent.
