Mario Monti sets out guidelines for reform of Merger Regulation, the "most radical" since 1989

Brussels, 07/11/2002 (Agence Europe) - The Commissioner for competition, Mario Monti took advantage of a conference organised in Brussels on 7 and 8 November on "EC Merger Control" to set out, before the International Bureau bringing together some hundred lawyers, the major thrusts of the reform of the Merger Regulation that he is to submit to the College next month.
