ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) breweries

The Belgian INTERBREW company has concluded an agreement with the Chinese K.K. group to acquire a 70% stake in its brewing operations for a cash payment of USD 42 million. INTERBREW has also finalised the acquisition of a 24% stake in the Chinese ZHUJIANG group for USD 19.5 million.
