Russia officially recognised as market economy

Brussels, 07/11/2002 (Agence Europe) - Three days from the EU/Russia Summit, to be held in Brussels on 11 November, the EU on Thursday formalised recognition of Russia as market economy, by amending European legislation on anti-dumping and anti-subsidies measures. This new regime, that will apply as from Friday, has two consequences: (1) to calculate dumping margins, the Commission will henceforth base itself on information provided by Russian companies concerning their prices and costs,...
