Eurostat revises 2001 budget deficits for Italy, Greece and Austria upwards

Brussels, 03/07/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday, Yves Franchet, Eurostat Director announced that Eurostat has adopted a series of decisions regarding financial operations of certain Member States and has revised the public deficit estimates of Italy upwards (+0.6%), as well as that of Greece and Austria.
