03/07/2002 (Agence Europe) - Swedish Liberal Caecilia Malström regretfully explained to reporters on Tuesday that the conference on Cuba this Thursday (attended by MEPs and Commission representatives) would not be attended by the four Cuban invitees, members liberal parties that are outlawed in Cuba but which are active in launching initiatives to promote democracy who had been prevented from leaving Cuba despite having been granted visas.
