Rasmussen calls for "historical opportunity" to re-unite Europe to be seized - Summits with Parliament and Commission before European Councils in Brussels and Copenhagen

Strasbourg, 03/07/2002 (Agence Europe) - Presenting the Danish Presidency's six-month programme to the European Parliament plenary on Wednesday, the President of the European Council of Ministers, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, affirmed his government's desire to maintain close cooperative links with the European Parliament, announcing that Summit level meetings would be held between Council, Parliament and Commission ahead of the Brussels and Copenhagen European Summits (as desired by Pat Cox, Ed)....
