The German group PREUSSAG is to sell, for an undisclosed amount, to the Italian MERLONI TERMOSANITARI (200 million euro turnover in 2000 with 1,500 employees) several companies pooled within its heating technique subsidiary WOLF GMBH, among which the French firm CHAFFOTEAUX ET MAURY. Together the companies being sold had an overall turnover of some 550 million euro in 2000 and a workforce of 3,500.
