The BANK OF IRELAND has taken over the financial services consultancy firm WILLIS NATIONAL for £40 million from the WILLIS GROUP (51%) and ABBEY NATIONAL (49%). The BANK OF IRELAND is thus strengthening its position in the long-term savings and specialized mortgages sector.
