10/07/2001 (Agence Europe) - Commissioner Philippe Busquin will be visiting the Faunhofer-Institut für Lasertechnik in Aachen, Germany, next Tuesday. During his visit, discussions with the president, Hans-Jürgen Warnecke and several scientists will cover the strategy to be adopted to allow the European Union to avoid the foreseeable deficit of 500,000 researchers in the year 2010.
