ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) agri-foodstuff

The Swiss NESTLE intends to acquire 3.4 million shares in the American ice-cream producer DREYER'S GRAND ICE CREAM from a subsidiary of GENERAL ELECTRIC, for USD 107 million. This operation will enable NESTLE to move from 21% to 28% in the capital of DREYER'S.
