ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) cable systems

The American telecommunications operator AT&T has sold to MEDIACOM COMMUNICATIONS, for $2.21 billion in cash, cabled networks in four US federal states that have some 840,000 subscribers. AT&T has, moreover, confirmed the sale to VODAFONE of the 10% that it held in JAPAN TELECOM CO for the sum of $1.35 billion. See EI of 28 February.
