ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) energy

The German group SIEMENS and the Anglo-Dutch group SHELL will form a joint venture that will combine their activities in solar energy and which should have an annual turnover of more than EUR 150 million. SIEMENS will contribute SIEMENS SOLAR, its joint venture with E.ON. Thus the company will be 34% held by SIEMENS, and 33% by both SHELL and E.ON.
