ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) insurance

CGNU, the leading British insurance group, plans to reduce its stake in SOCIETE GENERALE (France) from 6.8% to 4.3%. Italian UNICREDITO ITALIANO will acquire the stake in question while the British insurance firm will take on 2% of the Italian bank in exchange.
