Commission decisions

Brussels, 01/03/2001 (Agence Europe) - Thursday, the Commission approved the following operations, to which we shall return:

  • Acquisition of the Pipe Systems division of Glynwed by Etex, in the plastic channeling sector.;

  • Acquisition by Abbott of BASF's pharmaceutical activities;

  • Acquisition by Michel Mineralolhandel of two oil product sales offices of Thyssen-Elf Oil;

  • Concentration between Chevron and Texaco in the oil sector.
