Votes on electronic communications, fisheries and development policy

Brussels, 01/03/2001 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday, the EP approved several other reports to which we shall return tomorrow, namely: - the Brunetta, Paasilinna and Niebler reports on electronic communications (the Commission welcomed their adoption); - reports on fisheries: by Varela Suanzes Carpegna and Piétrasanta (stocks of highly migratory species) and Gallagher (EC/Equatorial Guinea fisheries agreement); - and the Gemelli report on development policy.
