33.4 million euro loan for the Bilbao ring road

Luxembourg, 28/11/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European investment Bank is granting a 33.4 million euro loan in Spain for the construction of the Txorierri corridor, last stretch of the ring road north of Bilbao. The project is being co-funded by the Bilbao banks Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA) and Bilbao Bizkaia Ktxa (BBK). The motorway stretch requires the construction of tunnels and viaducts to cross hilly areas. "Once complete, it will provide an alternative route to the A 8 motorway...
