The British group BT - BRITISH TELECOM and Norwegian TELENOR are in talks to sever their ties in several companies. The plan provides for BT taking its stake in the German firm VIAG INTERKOM to 100% by buying the shares of its partner TELENOR. BT would also take a 100% stake in the Irish firm ESAT DIGIFONE.
